Barista Barista
On our Barista Barista course you will gain the theoretical and practical knowledge to be able to develop recipes for a variety of different brewing methods, and the practical skills the set a grinder, operate an espresso machine, prepare and present an espresso drink, foam milk and the practical customer service skills that a Barista, café owner or anyone else serving coffee will need.
It’s not all work and no fun though, you will get the chance to taste a variety of coffees, and train your taste buds to become a coffee connoisseur, able to identify the key attributes of the flavour and body that tell you about the variety of beans and brewing methods. If there’s time we’ll even take things a step further and look at the new alcoholic coffee drinks that are going to be the next big thing in bars and pubs.
The Barista Barista course is intensive, concentrated and rewarding. Designed and developed specifically for those wishing to pursue, or further a career in the coffee industry this is designed and delivered by professionals who have worked in the coffee industry and have the experience and qualifications to ensure that you leave with the practical and theoretical skills that a barista needs.
